My 2015 Soundtracks
In 2015 I fell in love with CDs all over again. There is nothing quite like being able to hold an album in your hand and know it's not going to get lost whenever you update your phone or purchase a new laptop (me and iTunes have never really been friends).
Last year I purchased 4 beautiful albums and I love each and every one of them, they will forever remind me of 2015 and I will cherish them for a long long time!
In no particular order, these 4 albums are:
Jessie Ware - Tough Love
Jessie has one of the most beautiful voices and a real way with words. This album really resonated with me and I could just listen to it over and over again. My favourite track is Keep On Lying, I can't help but wiggle my hips when this song starts!
Mumford & Sons - Wilder Mind
I purchased this album around the time I was travelling over the moors to visit a friend, it just reminds me of the beautiful views I'd see when visiting them. Again, similar to Jessie Ware's album, there's a lot of songs that really hit home and makes me feel rather nostalgic. It was hard to choose a favourite but I think it has to be Ditmas.
Chvrches - Every Open Eye
I enjoy listening to this album whatever mood I'm feeling as it's a good all rounder out of the four. My favourite track is High Enough To Carry You Over.
Wolf Alice - My Love Is Cool
Wolf Alice is such a great band and I love even more that they are on an independent label in the UK. Their poetic lyrics are a dream to hear and it's my mission for 2016 to find more bands like them! My favourite track from this album is Freazy.
