The Cake Of All Cakes

I recently made a Buttermilk Sponge with Biscoff Swiss Meringue Buttercream (try saying that with a mouth full of cake...!) after trying a beautiful slice from Crumbs and Doilies in Soho, London.

I must say my cake turned out pretty darn well and it's reminded me that I really must make Swiss Meringe Buttercream more often, it's so silky smooth and tastes so creamy, I love it. I used the Crumbs and Doilies recipe to try and replicate the cake I tried!

I leave you with a parting close up of the grand cake and the knowledge that Biscoff spread is one of the best things ever thought up.
