I've fallen madly in love with an app called Polaroid Swing. It essentially allows you to create and share interactive photos with the touch of a button. It's a really simple concept however I'm constantly amazed by the content that people upload; it makes me feel like I'm living in a Harry Potter world.
I downloaded the app last year but due to limited space on my phone and the overwhelming amount of apps I was using at the time, it sadly got deleted. Then, the other day I got an email from the team at Polaroid Swing telling me about the new updates they'd made. I decided to give it a go again and to spend a bit more time using it this time around.
I wanted to share with you the three swings I made a couple of days ago when I was in the middle of using my watercolours.
So far the one above is my favourite. It took a few attempts and the right paint to wet paper ratio but I think it worked out beautifully.
I enjoyed trying out different colours for this one. The blue watercolour worked best, it's crazy to see how the paint spreads around on top of the water.
Lastly I tried out a few different shots of the watercolour paint coming out of the tube. The blue version I took worked out the best as it still stayed attached and gave an interesting effect.
Why not download the app and give it a go yourself. Make sure you add me @laurenwelland :)
